Hidden among the collections, there are said to be clues about a treasure hidden by the monks of the Abbey of Fécamp: a golden angel feather. The gentleman thief is asking for your discreet help to investigate before the police get involved!

Set in a privileged decor, this exceptional workshop – developed in collaboration with the Master of Distillation – begins with a presentation of few Bénédictine plants and spices, before tackling the subtleties of liquor-making.
Visitors will first explore the museum collections. The guided tour then leads to the one and only Bénédictine distillery in the world, with its hammered copper stills, and to the cellars. The participants will be offered a visual and olfactory discovery of the 8 alcoholates, also known as Spirits, at various stages of production.

Le Palais Bénédictine, an architectural masterpiece of gothic and Renaissance inspirations, was erected at the end of the 19th century in honour of the Bénédictine liqueur by Alexandre Le Grand, a wine merchant from Fécamp, who had found a recipe created in 1510 by a Bénédictine monk in a grimoire.
